L’Accroche-Cuir, Isabelle Blondet

All my creations are entirely hand-sewn in saddle stitch. The linen thread is hand-waxed with beeswax. I love the colorful contrasts between leather, stitching and tinted edges.

Made-to-measure increases the possibilities and helps me progress. It's a pleasure for the customer too, and the feeling of having a unique object, having participated in its creation. The leathers come from the Decourt et Fils warehouses in Javerlhac-la-chapelle (24), either whole hides or

1/2 skins of cowhide, lambskin, calfskin, goatskin, or fine offcuts from the big houses, and other supplies from Déco Cuir (based in Nantes) or local haberdashers in the Dordogne.
