The Living Gallery

A new gallery concept has opened its doors in the heart of Périgord: The Living Gallery. Located in the historic bastide town of Beaumont-du-Périgord, the gallery is positioned as an international, contemporary gallery dedicated to the visual arts.

The Living Gallery is more than a traditional exhibition space. The concept is based on direct encounter and exchange between artist Marthijn de Groot and the public. The gallery functions as a living space where his artistic expression takes center stage - painting, sculpture, music and performance come together as different forms of the same artistic language. The visitor is not merely a spectator, but is invited to engage actively with the work, to look, feel and enter into dialogue.
