Grotte du Grand Roc

The Grotte du Grand Roc stands halfway up a cliffside overlooking the Vézère Valley in Les Eyzies. This enchanted mineral forest features an incredible variety of crystallisations: stalactites, stalagmites, eccentrics and draperies, to name but a few. 40min guided tour.Combined ticket available with the Abris de Laugerie Basse.Located only a few dozen metres away, these rock shelters are a reference for prehistoric scientists the world over. The numerous archaeological vestiges discovered on site give witness to a rich cultural activity unlike any other in the region.
