Boucle de Bosset

Discover Bosset, a charming little town in the heart of the Landais where the Lidoire, a tributary of the Dordogne, has its source.

Historically, it is in a pouillé of the XIIIth century that we find, for the first time in the text, the name of this parish under the form of : Borses. It is in the minutes of Pierre Mortier that appears the Latin name from which derives the current name: Bos Siccus: the dry wood.
