The Domaine du Castellat vineyard is located on the northeast slope overlooking the Dordogne Valley. It extends over 22 hectares of good wine-producing land.

The property is located on a strategic site considering its panorama. The origin of Castellat "Castellum" would go back to about the year 1000, and farther according to the Latin root.
